Legendary Lodge is located at the foothills of Mount Meru, on the outskirts of the bustling town of Arusha and is the gateway to the Northern Safari Circuit of Tanzania. Vast herds of wildebeest pass just outside your tent, following a migratory path worn over millennia. Far-ranging herds of wildebeest make the iconic Great Migration travelling a never-ending circuit from the southern Serengeti in Tanzania, up northwest towards the mighty Mara River, and back again. Our signature migrational camps are perfectly situated in the Serengeti and move with the migration so you never miss any action.

Operating as two seasonal camps across four locations within the Serengeti, Nyasi and Songa are set up in four locations during different times of the year. Nyasi moves with the migration from the savannah of the Lamai in the northern Serengeti to the short grass plains of the southern Serengeti. Songa moves with the migration from the hilly outcrops of Kogatende in the northern Serengeti to the short grass plains of the southern Serengeti.

Overlooking a rocky gorge on the Arugusinyai river, Mwiba Lodge rises from the boulders surrounded by coral and acacia trees. Stretching out before you is a vast wildlife reserve vibrantly lush with colour-infused botanicals, 33 freshwater springs and a diverse array of wildlife.

Each of the 10 suites found at Mwiba Lodge are complete with private decks overlooking the rocky river below, large soaking tubs, outdoor rain showers, personal minibar and grand beds made for dreaming. The main lodge offers a jacuzzi moulded within the rockface as well as a pool overlooking the landscape, wistful living spaces, rejuvenating spa and gym, curated wine cellar and remarkable menus. An expansive pool is set on a rocky outcrop where guests can enjoy the resident wildlife that frequent the natural springs below.

Enveloped within 20 000 hectares (55 000 acres) of raw, untainted African bush lies the Chem Chem - Burunge Wildlife Management Area (WMA), with secluded, elegant tent-style accommodation at three locations: Chem Chem Lodge, Little Chem Chem and Forest Chem Chem. Each is designed to evoke the spirit, luxury and intimacy of a vintage safari experience.

Nowhere does Chem Chem Lodge impose, but rather blends in with the unfenced wilderness that stretches on all sides. The permanent structure of Chem Chem’s main Lodge reflects the form of a flamingo with its wings spread wide for landing. One wing holds the full-service gourmet restaurant and an outside fire place, the other wing offers a bar, lounge, fire place and fully stocked library. The Lodge also boasts a viewing deck with awe-inspiring views over Lake Manyara.
