Desert Wildlife of Namibia

Tour Details

Ever wondered what it would be like to walk another planet? Well look no further, an experience in the world’s oldest desert will feel like exactly that. Nothing can prepare you for this journey into the Namib Desert. It's the closest thing to an otherworldly experience with quality game viewing and majestic scenery to add.

Namibia is home to an incredible array of desert adapted wildlife over and above its famous landscapes. This itinerary combines three of the most wild and remote wilderness regions exposing our guests to the best possible chances of encountering these unique species. Over and above this, presentations and interaction with wildlife researchers are planned when researchers are in camp, or nearby.

These include all current research, in particular the good work being done by Dr Flip Stander and his team on the unique desert-adapted lions. Namibia’s desert region is so completely different to any other experience on the African continent, in the world in fact. The wildlife are adapted to an extreme way of life & this safari showcases this to you in a beautiful manner. If you’re looking for something different & would like to experience a place that reminds you of another planet, then Namibia and this desert region is tailor made for you.
