Begin your adventure at the iconic Giraffe Manor, the embodiment of classic, romantic Kenya. Set amidst verdant acres of indigenous forest, Giraffe Manor is a sanctuary for both travellers and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes that wander the grounds and frequently poke their heads through the windows, enchanting guests and providing a magical, memorable setting for visitors to begin their safari adventure.

Wake up in the heaven surrounded by these tall mammals. You will enjoy breakfast and of course share your breakfast with the Giraffes own breakfast. Your day at leisure will also provide you the opportunity to visit and explore Nairobi’s many iconic and historical attractions. You will return to Giraffe Manor for afternoon tea featuring sandwiches, scones, and cakes and of course a bowl of pellets for the giraffes.

After breakfast you will depart to Wilson Airport for your charter flight to Musiara airstrip in the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be met by the team from Governors Camp who will drive you to the camp, its superb location on the banks of the Mara River and has easy access to the game rich Musiara Marsh and Paradise Plains. You will check in and have time to freshen up before your afternoon game drive in search of the iconic game that roam the Masai Mara, it also includes a stop for a sunset drink.

Each day you will wake up, enjoy coffee, and depart on your morning game drive. Returning to camp you will enjoy breakfast. Thereafter you will have time to explore the camp or choose to relax. There will be a 3:30pm game drive returning to camp before sundown. Dinner will be enjoyed before settling in for the night while listening to the sounds of the wildlife at night.

Your stay in the Mara will conclude after your morning safari activity and breakfast, you will depart to the airstrip for your flight to the Amboseli National Park. On arrival the team from Tortilis camp will collect you and transfer you to the camp. Check-in will be completed, and you will be shown to your room. In the afternoon, a drive will take you exploring the park taking in this must-see destination.

On an ideal day in camp, guests do an early morning drive from 0630hrs and come back to camp for breakfast or have breakfast in the bush by 0900hrs and do another drive in the afternoon from 1600hrs. In between, it is very hot most of the days making it less ideal for any activities. They also have an alternative of doing the bush walk substituting with either the morning or afternoon drive with a sundowner in one of the hill or bush breakfasts.

You will greet Amboseli National Park and transfer to Amboseli Airport for your flight to Diani Beach. You will be taken to The Sands at Nomad for your 3-night stay. Nestled in an indigenous coastal forest with a garden and a palm-fringed beach, The Sands at Nomad is the perfect place to unwind and end this iconic trip in Kenya.

Each day you will have the opportunity to enjoy each of the activities there is on offer, from Yoga, tennis, golf, forest walks, boat excursions, diving and shopping. The really is something for everyone. There are plenty of dining options available, from a sushi bar to a pizzeria. Cocktails and drinks can be enjoyed at the pool bar. The Sands also has a water sport centre, fitness centre, a 24-hour front desk with gift shop and a tour desk for any tours in the region. Other activities in the surroundings includes windsurfing, kitesurfing, diving and snorkeling. An 18-hole golf course is located 2km from the hotel.

Your dream stay in Kenya ends on your last morning at Nomad the Sands. After breakfast you will be taken to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi and onwards.
