The Great Apes are undoubtably one of the world’s most interesting species to encounter. Whether it be chimps or gorillas, their antics are all too similar to our own, which makes expeditions to see them that much more amazing and rewarding.
This Private Great Apes of Uganda experience combines two of the most renowned great apes. The chimps of Kibale forest and the gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable forest. Three chimpanzee treks in Kibale before ending with the main event, trekking the mountain gorillas of Bwindi!
A private guided experience is centered around you & your enjoyment. You’ll travel in the company of a professionally qualified Wild Eye guide for the entire duration of the tour. It’s private and exclusive and therefore offers you the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of being on safari to the fullest, all whilst being in the company of a guide and host whose sole purpose is to ensure that you are taken care of beyond your expectation, from start to finish.

Overview
Ready to pack your bags for a private guided Great Apes of Uganda experience? With just a few details from you, we’ll put together your dream holiday!
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe and check into Boma Guest House | Day 2: Charter flight into Kahihi where we will be met by our guide and driven to Primate Lodge, overnight Kibale | Day 3-5: Chimp trekking each day, for three days while at Kibale | Day 6: Drive toward Bwindi through Queen Eilazbeth National Park | Day 7-9: Three full day in Bwindi, with a Gorilla trek to a different family each day | Day 10: Road transfer back to Kahihi and charter flight back to Entebbe.
