And just like that, another busy safari year is a wrap. Thinking back, the memories and incredible moments the many guests I had the privilege of hosting and I now get to cherish is something no words will ever describe. Looking ahead at my 2024 Safari's, I cannot believe that my scheduled tours calendar is almost fully booked.

What a blessing!

The adventure starts on the overwhelmingly beautiful west coast of Svalbard, the ship will cross the Greenland Sea on our way to the Northeast Greenland coastline, then continue toward the large fjord system in the South of Greenland, before ending on the North coast of Iceland where guests will have the choice to continue onward in exploration of the incredible diversity of the island.

I can assure you that during this 20 adventure, we will explore and photograph some of the most remote and spectacular landscapes on the planet.

The excitement of what we will do and see does not end with photographing an impressive iceberg, deep fjords, and colossal glaciers.

There are Many mammals be on the lookout for and hopefully photograph. The waters and areas we’ll explore are alive with belugas, blues, fins, Greenland whales, minkes, narwhals, sperm whales, arctic foxes and if we’re really lucky, polar bears.

All this beauty will be captured either from a zodiac, on land and/or our main vessel.

This Arctic Voyage is an expedition-style adventure like none other, and promises to be a memorable experience.

That said, August welcomes a change in season, the summer begins to wane and the days start getting shorter and depending on the year and conditions, the Northern Lights can start to be seen in most of Greenland from around August.

That said, there will always be something to look out for, photograph or better yet, simply enjoy during this unforgettable journey.

Teeming with wildlife biodiversity and with grasslands as far

as the eye can see, the Masai Mara is one of the most iconic wildlife destinations the world.

One which offers incredible photographic opportunity outside of the typical migration period. In fact, many an award winning image have been captured during the shoulder season either sides of the migratory movements. The Mara remains a quintessential safari experience in the Mara Experience Season and is still one of the bucket list items that any wildlife and nature enthusiast should tick off.

We understand that the safari experience is of the utmost importance to our clients and our prime location on the banks of the Mara River in the southernmost reaches of the Mara Triangle Conservancy makes it possible for us to explore the banks of the Mara River at first light. This puts us in the perfect position to exclusively photograph anything exciting as our location allows our vehicles to be in these prime areas at first and last light as we are based so near to these hot spot areas.

The Mara river does not really take centre stage at this time of year, but the big cats and many other special critters do.

Each day's schedule will be decided in discussions with your guides and camp manager to ensure that we plan the best possible safari experience for you. Typically, we'll spend a lot of time looking for the many predators that call this area home such as lions, leopards, cheetahs along with anything else that may excite you. But if we’re very lucky, we could still experience some migration action, watching wildebeest & zebra crossing the Mara River.

Don't forget about the opportunity for a sunrise balloon safari over the plains of the Mara which usually takes place in the latter half of the seven day tour.

In my, and all past guests opinions, the people you see in the above image is what makes a week at our camp in the Masai Mara truly special.

I have visited many lodges over the years and I am still struggling to find lodge staff as, humble, authentic and willing as our team in Kenya.

All that they do including the Maasai cultural evening, will take your stay at the to a new level, as our team share traditional songs, dances and even a meal in honour of your stay with us. I don’t want to give too much away but suffice to say that this is one of the most authentic and memorable cultural experiences on offer in the whole of the Masai Mara.
