Scenic helicopter flights over Botswana's Okavango Delta is an opportunity you cant afford to miss.
Moments after departing you’ll enjoy the breath-taking views seen only from a helicopter. Experience the crystal-clear water channels meandering their way through lagoons, while journeying deep into the lush green flood plains to explore the abundant wildlife of the Okavango region.
The doors are removed (don't worry, there are seatbelts) for an even better photographic experience while flying over some of the most remote, uninhabited and wild areas of the Okavango Delta.
Scenic helicopter flights are conducted any time of day, with keen photographers (such as ourselves) usually preferring the early morning.
On our Botswana Wilderness Safari we afford guests the opportunity of doing an early morning flight with two guests both seated on the left hand side of the chopper. We prefer to fly out of the Vumbura Plains or Little Vumbura camps as this pareticular region is spectacularly diverse but you can fly out of any of the camps in the Delta.
Your pilot will position you and circle around scenic features and wildlife, giving you unobstructed views and fantastic photographic opportunities. When flying with guests on our Botswana Wilderness Safari I will be seated in the back right (There is no cost associated with me joining the flight based on 2 guests flying) and will coach you through settings and opportunities whilst also communicating with the pilot.
