Lower Zambezi Excitement

I am so very excited to be returning to the Lower Zambezi next week. I'll be hosting two private safaris to this very special this month and into August. I will elaborate more on this in the video below. That said, I will say that I so often think back to the trip I hosted there last year. What an exciting experience that was! If we get to experience anything similar to what my guests and I experienced in 2023, we're in for an action packed adventure. If you would like to see what our 2023 safari was all about, please click here to watch our trip report.

Situated in southeastern Zambia along the northern banks of the mighty Zambezi River, is what truly is a sanctuary of unparalleled beauty. Nestled opposite Zimbabwe's renowned Mana Pools National Park, it offers a unique blend of dramatic landscapes, from rugged escarpments to lush riverine forests. This region is a haven for lion, leopard, wild dog, elephants, hippos, diverse bird species and so much more, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

The area is somewhat of an undiscovered gem and with its commitment to conservation it ensures that its natural splendour remains unspoiled. The Lower Zambezi's tranquility and raw, untouched beauty provide an immersive and rejuvenating escape from the modern world. I hope the below video does my mere words more justice.
