SAFARI EXPERIENCE

Morning and afternoon game drives allow you to get close to animals in the savannah areas where lion, leopard, elephant, sable and buffalo along with extensive plains game roam. The open 4x4 Land Rovers each accommodate a maximum of seven people allowing each guest a ‘window’ seat for the best wildlife viewing. Night drives with spotlights allow you to find those nocturnal animals you wouldn’t see during the day. Porcupine, aardwolf, serval, large spotted genet and lesser bushbaby are just some of these.

There is no better way of viewing the Delta and its wildlife than by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe), often revealing the smaller critters of the Okavango Delta and fascinating waterbirds of the region.

Just by being here, you help to conserve this crucial piece of land in the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area, these precious pachyderms and the keystone species that call the Linyanti home.
