I have just returned from Khamab Kalahari Reserve and my word, this is a truly special destination. Our time at this Reserve was a perfect reminder of how patience in the bush and on safari always pays off.
We had some amazing sightings during our 7-day safari. Amongst all of them, the highlight was having the sightings all to ourselves and we made the most of our flexibility to get out on foot in as many situations as possible.
Have a look at my video below giving you some more insights into this very unique experience that we had.
Some of you may have never heard about Khamab Kalahari Reserve and in that case, I would encourage you to check out THIS blog of mine going into more details about this amazing Reserve.
In short this, is one of the largest private game reserves in South Africa and it is an absolute hidden gem. When driving around a 90,000 hectare reserve and you are guaranteed the exclusivity and privilege of being the only vehicle out there, it certainly comes with hard work for your sightings. However, when you find the animals, you are looking for, you are bound to have a special encounter whether it is being there for as long as you would like with no pressure to move off of sightings or getting on the ground with these animals.
Going into a trip to Khamab with an open mind set will set you up for a beautiful experience!
As you can see, we had some unbelievable moments while we were out on safari and I hope you enjoyed the updates. This is something that you could experience for yourself and if you would like to find out more about joining Wild Eye at Khamaba, you can join our waiting list as our 2025 scheduled safari is already booked out.
Thank you for your time and have a brilliant day wherever you may be!
