Accounts Receivable Clerk – Johannesburg

Wild Eye is growing, and we’re looking for a vibrant, detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

Full-Time | Johannesburg Based

Finance Administrator: Accounts Receivables

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Debtors' reconciliation of accounts
  • Collection of outstanding debt.
  • Create receivables invoices and send to customers
  • Create accurate Deferred income and expense GL codes
  • Follow up and resolve all debtors' queries
  • Liaise with customers timeously regarding outstanding payment and arrange payment terms
  • Send card payment links
  • Allocate and capture of debtor's payments received on the bank
  • Request remittance advice, ensuring the payment allocation is done accurately
  • Ensure a credit note has been processed correctly and then allocate accordingly
  • Ensure all filing and administration is up to date
  • Email invoice, pod, credit note or statement on request
  • Emailing Receipts to customers
  • Ensure correct payments allocation
  • Reconcile Cashbook and allocate accurately
  • Manage the Age Analysis
  • Inventory and stationery recon and control
  • Matric
  • Services & Hospitality industry experience mandatory
  • 3-5 years debtors related experience
  • Excellent numerical ability
  • High attention to detail
  • Good problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Excel experience and knowledge essential
  • Sage essential
    • Brings positive energy into every interaction
    • Has strong attention to detail and follows up like a pro
    • Communicates clearly and confidently

      • Min 6-8 years' experience in an FIT, tours planning role
      • Experience inbound to Africa (Southern & Eastern in particular)
      • Client facing experience
      • Diploma / degree in tourism or similar
      • SA I.D.
      • Detail orientated

      Unlike many other companies, all of our guides are fully employed, and we do not work on a freelance or partner photographer basis. This means that you will most likely be required to be based in Johannesburg, Nairobi or another strategically located base.
