YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1
Upon arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International airport in Lusaka, you will be met and transferred to Wild Dog Lodge. In the evening your Wild Eye guides will introduce themselves to the group, run through the daily itinerary, as well as what to expect on the safari.DAY 2
At a time to be advised, we will transfer back to Kenneth Kaunda International airport for our scheduled flight into Jeki airstrip in the Lower Zambezi National park. After a short road transfer we will arrive and settle into Kutali Camp which will be our home for the next 5 nights. We should arrive in time for a delicious lunch and orientation of the camp before heading out on our first activity in the afternoon. The Lower Zambezi offers a great variety of activities, however our main focus initially would be on game drives to try and maximise our time with predators, for which the Lower Zambezi is well known for.DAY 3-6
Our days will start off early with a cup of coffee overlooking the breathtaking Zambezi River before heading out on our first activity for the day. Depending on animal movements and photographic opportunities we will decide what activities to embark on. There are numerous options including game drives, walks, canoeing and fishing. All of these options will be clearly communicated, but, one thing is for sure, no matter the option decided, it is guaranteed to be a top drawer experience!Day 7
After our morning activity we will transfer by road to Chula island camp. Chula island is located on the Katengahumba / Discovery island and is our nearest site to Jeki airfield. The island is like Jurassic park, and full of surprises. The island is characterised by hidden lagoons and open dambos and offers fantastic game viewing, often not too far from camp!Day 8-10
Much like our previous camp, our days will start off early overlooking the spectacular Zambezi River before heading out on our first activity for the day. The same options of activities apply, all of which will be clearly communicated.Day 11
After our morning activity we will transfer by road to Jeki airstrip for our scheduled return flight to Lusaka. Arrival in Lusaka will mark the end of our safari. Please note: We can arrange a day room before international flights, however, this will need to be arranged with the Wild Eye Logistics team prior to the start of the safari.
