Born and raised on a farm in the heart of Zululand, the African bush has fascinated me since first memory. I have always described the African bush as the exact point where blinding beauty and boundless adventure meet.
I was fortunate enough to grow up with friends from the Zulu tribe and I have always had a passion to share their lessons and secrets from the natural world with travellers and so I began my professional guiding career in 2012 at Phinda Private Game Reserve. It was here that I discovered my love for the world of photography and in particular, fine art photography.
My guiding career has included Big 5 walking safaris, Turtle Guiding, Bird Guiding, 4 x 4 Overland Tours and guiding for well known bush lodges in Southern & East Africa. Photographic safaris have always had a special place in my heart because it allows us an opportunity to capture a small glimpse of what beauty Africa has to offer.
My profession has taken me all over the continent of Africa meeting the most wonderful people in the most breathtaking places, and nothing pleases me more than sharing these moments with people from all over the world.
