From start to finish Wild Eye met and exceeded our expectations. From the first contact Emma, our travel planner, understood our ideas for our trip and helped plan the perfect adventure. She assisted us in choosing the types of accommodation we enjoy (smaller more intimate camps) and guided us to the areas to visit. The guides that we met in Nairobi (Soila and Sammy) were fun and professional. They truly enhanced the time we spent there. All the camps we visited were different and unique, as were the scenery and wildlife experiences. The staff at the camps and guides were all outstanding. The food was fantastic and the comfort of the accommodation exceptional. The trip was seamless thanks to the amazing planning of Wild Eye. Their attention to detail, knowledge of the areas we visited and partnership with outstanding lodges made our trip the once in a lifetime experience we were hoping for. We would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone interested in this type of trip. We look forward to planning our next adventure with them!

I often travel to Africa and will make my own arrangements. This trip, my mom and sister were joining, so I asked for the expert help from Wild-Eye to plan a great itinerary that would hold interest for all of us. The itinerary they planned was exceptional. The in country(s) logistics were flawless. Everything was great....then my mom got sick and I can't even express how amazing it was to have the team at Wild-Eye (Thank you EMMA and everyone else) to help set up new logistics for us. What a weight off my and my sister's shoulders to not have to try to figure everything out with limited wi-fi and limited knowledge of the countries logistics. My first review of a Wild-Eye trip was end of 2020, I traveled during the pandemic and had an amazing trip. Since then I have traveled every year with the company and just returned from my latest photographic safari in Feb 2024 to the Masai Mara. It was fabulous! Africa makes me happy…and I choose to travel with a company that makes me happy. That is why I have chosen Wild-Eye to plan my custom trips as well as my photographic tours. I have lost count of the times we have booked through WildEye, both photographic & custom trips. It's quite a number; but this trip showed why they are so good. When something goes wrong.
We only had a brief trip, three nights in the northern Timbavati, three in the south. We arrived safely in Johannesburg, our luggage didn't. To be more accurate, one did make it, but there was such confusion from British Airways & their lack of customer service, it ended up in lost property. We had a domestic flight to Hoedspruit, but Emma was on the case before the wheels left the ground.
It took three days to be reunited with our bags, and only thanks to Emma & her tenacity. So, it's not just the attention to detail and skillful organization when booking the trips, it's when things don't quite go to plan that the WildEye team are invaluable.”Tracey I

Borneo Expedition with Gerry – A Journey I’ll Never Forget My trip to Borneo, led by Gerry as the expedition leader, was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, it was the kind of experience that leaves a mark on your soul. Gerry’s deep knowledge of the region, his passion for the wild, and his ability to connect people with nature elevated the entire journey. He didn’t just guide us—he brought Borneo to life. The landscapes were jaw-dropping, from misty rainforests to winding rivers, but the real highlight was the wildlife. We saw hornbills, one elephant (but it wasn't for want of trying), sun bears, and so much more—but the orangutans stole the show. Watching these critically endangered primates in the wild was humbling. There’s something profoundly moving about seeing them move through the trees, raise their young, and live their lives as they’ve done for thousands of years. Thanks to Gerry’s leadership, we weren’t just passive observers—we experienced Borneo. Every day was a new adventure, and every moment was packed with meaning. My adventure into India with Wild Eye was Incredible. Every part of the journey was well organised - the transport punctual and comfortable, the accommodation spacious and adequate, staff always friendly, attentive and mindful of our needs, and the food served was delicious. A truly magical week in the Northern Serengeti. So many special sightings, largely to ourselves - such a treat! Andrew Beck is an excellent photographic guide and overall host. My trip with Wild Eye was to South Africa - Sabi Sabi and MalaMala game reserves. They know when to go and where to go to increase your chances of having fabulous wildlife encounters. Our Wild Eye guide gave us ideas on camera settings but also encouraged us to try new things which for me was night photography and high-key imaging.

Wild Eye surely delivered on this trip. I have been on two trips with them- Brazil and South Africa. This trip was a safari but in a different climate. There are truly no words to describe the unforgettable experience I had in northern Norway. Another amazing Wild-Eye trip is in the books, and as always, we couldn't be happier. My wife and I have been coming to Africa on a regular basis since 1999. Sadly, we didn't find Wild-Eye until 2019, but since then we've used them exclusively for our African safaris. The team is amazing, providing start to finish support and guidance. The logistics team sets up everything necessary to make sure the trip goes smoothly. From the airport pick-up upon arrival, throughout the entire safari and the final drop-off, you know you're always well cared for. The guides are excellent and understand animal behavior, lighting and how to use your camera. They're also proficient in post processing and can help you with your images in Lightroom. I could go on and on, but to sum it up, I don't think you can find a better company than Wild-Eye and I know you won't be disappointed with them!"

We have traveled with Wild Eye and our fabulous guide Johan 3 times and have an upcoming 4th trip planned. They are a top notch travel company and all details are taken care of. We love the focus on photography and have learned something new every time we travel with them. Their private camp on the banks of the Mara river in the Masai Mari game reserve in Kenya has to be experienced. It is so special! The staff caters to all your needs, we loved getting to know them all and learning about their culture. The food was delicious. We can’t say enough about Wild Eye! The experience went beyond my expectations. Southern serengeti & ndutu delivered on predator-prey interactions and huge herds, which were my goal for the trip. Andrew was a superb teacher and guide. Choosing to go with a private guided safari was one of the best decisions we made. The one on one time with Michael enabled my husband to get a good grasp of basic photography skills within a couple of days so that he was shooting like a seasoned photographer which really enhanced his experience and made our trip even more enjoyable and special.

ENKISHUI SAFARI CAMP
The safari at Enkishui camp with Wild Eye was a trip of a lifetime for me. I don't often go on organised trips so the care that the Wild Eye team took in arranging the trip was beyond my expectations. From the start of the booking process to being out on game drives with our driver and guide, being looked after in camp and being served delicious and creative meals and learning about Masai culture and traditions, it all was arranged with such professional attention to detail and care. Everyone was so friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to have us stay in Enkishui camp as their guests. Nothing was too much trouble, and unusual dietary requirements were catered for creatively with delicious bush breakfasts and meals in camp. Our driver and guide, Ken was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and was able to locate and position us to see and photograph a whole range of animals including some spectacular sightings of a leopard cub and some of the first migration crossings over the Mara River of the Wildebeest and zebra. I would recommend Wild Eye and a safari with Enkishui camp in particular as you can be sure everything will be arranged to perfection, and you will be looked after. If you are looking to concentrate on photography, I can also recommend our photography host Daniel as she is knowledgeable and very supportive, giving advice on how to get the best images of the wildlife and landscapes we came across. The team are very open to discussing individual requirements and providing drivers for additional activities such as visiting the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi or a hot air balloon flight above the Masai Mara so if you have additional requirements, I am sure they would be able to help. Now I just need to work out when I can go again!

Enkishui Wild-Eye camp location is on the banks of the Mara River offers daily sightings of hippos, elephants, giraffes, creating an intimate connection with nature. Within just one week, we have given us so much comfort, safety, essential visitor annuities and a welcoming atmosphere that we feel we are part of the camp. Big thanks to Mary for taking care of our daily clothes, shoutout to Monica and Chef for providing our hot meals not just on the camp but on the field, and many thanks to Dickson for sharing the lovely Maasai culture and community with us. Last but not least, we love our driver Sammy, he is not just daily driving us on the game drives but he understood so well the position to stop the car for us to photoshoot at the right angle of lighting and wildlife behavior.

Wild eye delivered an amazing safari in the Masai Mara. The camp was glorious and I loved the location, hippos and staff from the very first moment we arrived. Camp life was very comfortable and we were well looked after. I loved the escorting to our tents at night, the noise of the hippos, the fire light conversations, the food and the warmth of the Masai who were happy to share their culture and have their photos taken. The game drive were fun and we saw all "the big 5" as well as many other animals. The drivers knew the roads well and knew exactly where to position the vehicle to get a great shot. Everything seemed to have been thought about before we needed it!
