Safari drives at Londolozi are taken by professional, passionate, and knowledgeable rangers and trackers, who have 350 years of experience between them. With over 16,000 hectares of traversing wilderness, no two game drives are ever the same.
In today’s safari practice, rifles have been replaced with cameras, and the only shooting done is to photograph the majesty of animals, birds, and trees. Londolozi’s rangers specialize in photographic safaris and, where possible, will position the vehicle for guests to get the best angle for photography. They will also share advice and knowledge where they can so you can capture the moment in all its glory.

Ishasha Wilderness Camp is situated within the Southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the Ntungwe River, an idyllic retreat for people who truly enjoy the wild. This exclusive camp blends the magic of a wilderness tented camp with superb service in this unspoilt and remote region of the National Park. The Ishasha savannahs are famous for its population of tree climbing lions that can sometimes be spotted resting in the branches of the large fig trees.
Being within the park, wildlife is free to pass through the camp. Elephants can be seen bathing in the river, buffalo enjoy grazing and resident troops of Black-and-White Colobus and vervet monkeys are frequently viewed.
The thatched central lounge and dining area provide a comfortable setting for meals and relaxation, although meals are often served ‘al fresco’ with views of the river when the weather is suitable. Buhoma Lodge is an intimate and charming property that commands spectacular and uninterrupted views of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the rare and elusive Mountain Gorilla. It is one of only two lodges situated within the National Park, within a short walking distance from the meeting point for gorilla tracking and other activities in the Buhoma area. Bwindi is one of the top ten birding sites in Africa with over 350 recorded species, including 23 endemics. Over 200 spectacular butterfly species, as well as mountain gorillas, L’Hoest’s monkey, black and white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, giant forest hog and the African golden cat are found here.
The lodge is a just a short distance from the meeting point for gorilla tracking. Gorilla viewing success rates are over 90%. Once sighted, visitors are allowed an hour with the gorillas.

SAFARI EXPERIENCE
Bwindi is one of the top ten birding sites in Africa with over 350 recorded species, including 23 endemics. Over 200 spectacular butterfly species, as well as mountain gorillas, L’Hoest’s monkey, black and white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, giant forest hog and the African golden cat are found here.
The lodge is a just a short distance from the meeting point for gorilla tracking. Gorilla viewing success rates are over 90%. Once sighted, visitors are allowed an hour with the gorillas.
Aside from this, it offers community interactions, cultural experiences, a village walk, and various other activities.
