YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1
Upon arrival in Maun, you will be met by a representative and escorted to the internal flights area for our scheduled flight into Chitabe. Once we arrive at Chitabe you will have some time to settle into your new home for the next 6 nights. We will depart for the afternoon safari later in the afternoon.DAY 2 - 6
The mornings will start off bright and early with a cup of coffee in camp before heading out on morning safari just before sunrise. Our aim will be to spend as much time as possible with predators, capturing different behaviors and taking full advantage of the best lighting conditions. We will have a private vehicle at our disposal throughout the safari which means there is no limit to the amount of time we spend in the field. Once animal activity slows down, and the morning begins to heat up, we will make our way back to camp for lunch and some downtime which you can use to go through some images with your Wild Eye guide or relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding at Chitabe Lediba. In the afternoon we will depart as the day starts to cool down and follow up on the sightings that we had in the morning which we feel will give us the best photographic opportunities in the evening. Each day's plan is entirely flexible.DAY 7
We will leave Chitabe Lediba camp early in the morning with our luggage ready for our scheduled helicopter flight to Mokete. We will aim to get to Wilderness Mokete camp in time for lunch, after which you can settle into your beautiful room, before departing on our afternoon safari. To ensure we have the best opportunities to photograph predators in good light, we will leave camp early in the afternoon, looking for potential sightings that we feel have potential and invest our time with those. We will return to camp after sunset and enjoy the wonderful facilities that are on offer at Wilderness Mokete camp.Day 8-11
As with the Chitabe concession, there are no time limits in sightings or with the duration of game drives and we will take full advantage of both of these elements to increase our chances of great sightings. We'll head out on safari before sunrise, and return to camp as the days begin to warm up to enjoy lunch and some free time to enjoy the spectacular setting we find ourselves in. This is also a great time to go through some of the images that you’ve created, and improve your Lightroom skills with the guidance of your professional guide. In the afternoon we will follow up on any sightings we had during the morning, or other updates that have been received by the guides. Once we have taken full advantage of the golden light in the afternoon we will make our way back to camp for a drink around the fire, followed by another scrumptious meal prepared by the wonderful chefs at Mokete.Day 12
At a time to be advised we prepare for our helicopter flight back to Maun. Upon arrival in Maun you will be escorted to International departures for your return flight home, signalling the end of an incredible adventure.
