- Chimpanzee trekking gratuities x 2 treks: This is usually expected at 20-50 USD per person per trek for the Chimpanzee rangers, however, once again, our guide will manage the gratuities for the Chimpanzee trekking on behalf of the group.

YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrival in Entebbe airport and transfer to the Karibu Guest House. During dinner your host will run you through a short presentation of the safari logistics, what to expect over the coming days and also share some photographic ideas and inspiration for the safari ahead.DAY 2
Transfer to Entebbe International Airport and board a flight to Kasese. Upon landing we’ll transfer to Chimpundu Lodge for check-in and orientation.DAY 3-4
Early wake up call. Enjoy breakfast followed by a small walk to the rangers station in Kibale National Park. Meet the expert trackers and enjoy the experience of finding the chimpanzees. Get to spend the day in the forest with the chimpanzees, an experience you’ll not easily forget. A packed lunch will be served in the forest and finish off the day during the afternoon when the chimpanzees retire. It’s a long full day and time with the chimps will be judged according to the appetite and ability of the groupDay 5
Enjoy breakfast and then depart for Kihihi. Check in at Buhoma Lodge. Enjoy some free time or request a one-on-one session with your Wild Eye guide to review images or to talk about photographic matters. Trekking activities start in the morning so there’ll be none on this day. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge.Day 6-8
Full days in Bwindi Forest. Enjoy breakfast, after which we make our way to the ranger’s station where we will meet our guide for a full briefing before heading out to the starting point of our gorilla trek. Once sighted, we will have an hour with the gorillas before making our way back to the lodge. There is normally ample time in the afternoon to relax, recharge batteries and download your images. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma LodgeDay 9
After a breakfast at the lodge we will transfer to Kihihi airstrip for a scheduled flight to Entebbe International Airport. This will be the time to say our goodbye’s as it signals the end of the experience.
