Amazing Apps For The Road – SnapSeed

In this three part blog/video series I showcase amazing apps for the road that I use on every single safari that I host.

If you're only seeing this series now, you've missed the first two. Feel free to follow the links below in which I showcase two of my favourite apps:

Last but not least. This is yet another app that I love using while on a trip to give my RAW files the face lift the need from the palm of my hand. This app is:

SnapSeed

This is a free photo-editing app in which you can take photos in the app and edit them, or edit photos already in your camera roll, including photos in JPG and RAW formats.

If you're satisfied with not so basic editing features and less precise edits, Snapseed is a great app that's more intuitive than Lightroom. It's totally free, with no premium paid tier and no ads so why not give it a go?

I use the app to so enhance the look of the RAW files that I pull off my camera while on safari. These are by no means my final edits, but are good enough to share updates with all of you on my Instagram stories while in the field.

See the video below as I will show you a bit more of how you can use this app and just how simple, yet effective it can be.

As mentioned in the video, if you do have any questions or seeking creative ideas, please feel free to get in touch and we will be more than happy to assist you.

Online Courses & Tuition

Teaching and tutoring is what Wild Eye is well known for. Typically this takes place in the form of in-field tuition on a safari, but we have also made this accessible to everyone through online webinars, digital photography courses and personalised 1:1 tuition.

Until then...

Stay Happy.

Stay Safe.
