Uganda Awaits

I cannot believe that I'll be typing the following words... Uganda awaits!!!

We will be arriving in Uganda in exactly a week from now for what will be one incredible adventure.

After what has been a long wait, the following quote by E. M. Forster cannot be more suitable;

We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

What do I really mean by Uganda awaits?

Well this incredible adventure includes not only the experience of getting close encounters and photographing the critically endangered Mountain Gorilla. That alone is epic, as it has been described by many as a life-changing experience and is certainly one of Africa’s bucket-list encounters with nature. But also two full days of trekking Chimpanzees in Uganda’s Kibale National Forest. As well as a two day visit to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions. This safari itinerary will give our guests the opportunity to photograph a much wider diversity of subjects than purely just primates and will leave them with an incredibly well-rounded portfolio of Uganda.

My favorite portion of this; not to be missed adventure, are the three gorilla treks. Here is a brief glimpse as to why;

Apart from the intimate encounters and the incredible photographic opportunities and diversity, there is so much more to it. For the full version as to why I love this experience so very much, please feel free to read a blog a wrote a while back regarding this very topic;
